Chapter 1, Verse 5

“to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.”

Paul wraps up his introduction to the letter with this final statement. To whom be the glory forever and ever. Paul is referencing God in this wonderful statement. There is no one else deserving of our praise and worship. Our worship will last forever and ever; in the doxology the whole period of duration is conceived as a succession of cycles. There will be no end to our worship. This is the type of worship that God is deserving of. So remember, as you go about your day, to bring all glory back to God, sing His praise as often as you can, for He alone is worthy.
