2 Peter 3 Verse 9

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance[1]

There is a lot to unpack with this single verse, knowing what Peter is talking about is crucial to understanding this verse. This entire letter is directed towards those who are already Christians, those who already know God, but in this case may be misled or deceived by false teachings. God is patient with His elect and does not want any to perish. He is giving all those plenty of time to repent before His judgement falls. Spend time in your bible, ensuring that you can discern right doctrine from false doctrine.
