John 3 verse 30

30 He must increase, but I must decrease.”[1]

An instrumental verse to the Christian walk. John the Baptist is saying that he must decrease and make Christ increase. We must view our walk with Jesus in this same light. How do we humble ourselves to understand that we are nothing but dust. Jesus Christ is Lord over all things and should be viewed as such. He must be the center focal point of our lives. When we put anything ahead of Christ, we make for ourselves an idol. Something that has taken the place of Jesus in our lives. Increasing Him in your life through prayer and bible study must become staples to your walk. Daily dedication to these habits will help you understand how to decrease and allow Him to increase.
