Colossians 2 Verse 3

in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.[1]

While Colosse isn’t a church that Paul planted, he still cared for them as if they were his own. In the opening of chapter 2, Paul is concluding his stance on the ministerial call to the church. He makes this indication that all hidden treasures of wisdom and knowledge reside in Him, Jesus. Paul says this as he encourages those in Laodicea and all who haven’t seen him to reach for all the knowledge of God’s mystery. That mystery is Christ, whom all wisdom and knowledge flow from. Christ is our ultimate source for knowledge for us to understand truth that isn’t the modern subjective truth plaguing our world today. Christ is the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow, ever unchanging. So, reach for Him and know that you grow in fullness of God’s perfect mystery that is Christ Jesus.
